Informational Meeting On How To Respond To A City Summons

Queens Borough President Melinda Katz and community leaders from Flushing joined Fidel F. Del Valle, Commissioner of the New York City Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) (third from l.), at a June 11 press conference to announce that OATH will be holding an informational meeting to inform residents and small business owners on what they should do if they receive a summons from a New York City enforcement agency. The meeting will advise residents and small business owners about their rights and responsibilities in such cases. It will be held Thursday, June 14, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in Queens Library, Flushing at 41-17 Main Street. It will be hosted by Borough President Katz and Council Member Peter Koo, with Congress Member Grace Meng and NYS Senator Toby Ann Stavisky serving as honorary co-hosts.
