Cops Hunt Armed Rob Crew

Police are searching for three armed bandits who bound and pistol-whipped victims in nine convenience store robberies in Queens and Brooklyn since January 6th.

Cops said the crime spree began at a Brooklyn Laundromat, where the three suspects pistol whipped a clerk, tied him up and made off with $200.

Police said the suspects pulled off their last two robberies in Queens, including a violent holdup at a Dollar General Store in College Point on February 25th, where they locked two workers in a bathroom and forced a third to open store registers. The thieves made off with $1,000 cash, two store scanners, a Samsung Galaxy mobile phone and a land line phone, police said.

The trio pulled off their latest heist on March 1st, when they flashed a weapon inside the Maspeth Deli at Grand Avenue and 71st Street and fled with $700 cash, credit and debit cards, and an LG cell phone from customers, police said.

Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage from the Maspeth robbery that shows the suspects boarding an MYA bus moments after fleeing the scene.
