To kick off this year’s walk, the American Cancer Society’s Queens Division held their kickoff breakfast in RWCNYC’s Central Park event space on August 8, where both sponsors and survivors attended the event to discuss their experience battling cancer. The walk took place on October 15 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, where countless volunteers, staff, and survivors showed their support.

RWCNYC is continuing their season of giving by accepting new or gently used coats for the winter in partnership with the New York Cares Coat Drive, as well as accepting unwrapped children’s toys for the local community. Collection bins can be found in the main entrance of the casino, and the coat and toy drives will continue until December 21.
