Austin Street Is Lit Up For Holidays, Courtesy Of Koslowitz And Forest Hills Stadium

“Our holiday lights are a wonderful neighborhood tradition. So Leslie Brown, President, Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce welcomes everyone to the Celebrate Winter festival. Behind her is the event band which played Beatles, James Brown, and Christmas songs.

I reached out to the Forest Hills Stadium Concert Promoters/Madison House Presents to see if they could help pay for them, and I was delighted when they said yes,” said Koslowitz.

The Forest Hills Celebrate Winter festival tents. “The holiday tradition of lights shining brightly in Forest Hills will continue this season thanks to the efforts of Council Member Karen Koslowitz and the generosity of Madison House and the Forest Hills Stadium Concerts. On behalf of all the businesses and the community, we are so pleased that the lights are up. I thank you!” said Leslie Brown, President, Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce.

The Celebrate Winter festival featured a live band, free food samples, and a raffle for gift baskets donated by local businesses.

Thanks to Queens City Council Delegation Chair Karen Koslowitz, the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce and Madison House Presents and the Forest Hills Stadium Concerts the holiday lights of Austin Street are lighting the way once again for the community and shoppers.
