BNB Opens Its Newest Branch In Astoria

Photos Tony Barsamian On Wednesday, November 1, Bridgehampton National Bank (BNB) formally opened its Astoria Branch at 35-02 Broadway with a ribbon-cutting, free coffee from the BNB Coffee Cart and congratulations all around from local community officials, friends and customers. With roots on the East End of Long Island, BNB has brought its partnership model of banking to local businesses for more than 100 years. BNB has branches across Long Island in both Suffolk and Nassau counties, as well as one in Bayside and one in Manhattan – as their motto says, “from Montauk to Manhattan.”

Branch Manager Krisanthi Lilaj, who has a long tenure in the Astoria neighborhood having worked for several other financial institutions, will be joined at the new branch by lending officer Nick Tavantzis, a veteran banker and Queens resident. They will deliver the BNB hallmarks of personal service and local decision-making.
