KrisTEES Boutique ‘Shines’ In 2009 Holiday Season

Photo Vinny DuPre KrisTEES boutique of Astoria presented a live window display on December 2 as part of their holiday kick-off event, “Shine 2009”.

The unique display was designed by Japanese artists Mieko Anekawa, Hitomi Nozawa and Ruico Oshika, and featured a mystical forest filled with fantastic and unusual creatures. Window shoppers were entertained by Nozawa’s artistic dance moves while guests were treated to a holiday make over by stylist Oshika.

KrisTEES, a new contemporary women’s boutique, has been featured in Lucky Magazine, Time-Out NY, the Daily News and Queens Gazette.

Owner Kristie Foster, a 13-year veteran of the New York City fashion industry, was recognized by Mayor Michael Bloomberg for enriching the neighborhood by showcasing emerging global designers and for championing young creative fashion entrepreneurs.
