Sharon Way Howard “The reason I enjoy art shows, particularly outdoor ones, is because as an artist you work alone—very solitary. This way you get people’s input into your work and what you’ve been doing. There’s no feeling in the world that pleases you more than to hear comments and remarks as visitors walk by.”Sharon Way Howard “The reason I enjoy art shows, particularly outdoor ones, is because as an artist you work alone—very solitary. Why do you enjoy being a participant in an outdoor art show?

Richard Moffett “Each year I enjoy participating in our summer art show as people visit and view the handiwork of our club members. I renew old friendships and meet new people. It’s the pleasure of my life, it’s great therapy—the love of art and the love of our communities.”Richard Moffett “Each year I enjoy participating in our summer art show as people visit and view the handiwork of our club members. This is an opportunity to share with the community. I get a lot of nice feed-back from visitors who come by and it causes me to enjoy our conversations. I didn’t begin painting until I retired, years ago.”Ellen Wilson “Nobody really sees my work because I do it mainly for myself. This is an opportunity to share with the community. Bob Bochat “I think every artist likes to have his work seen and appreciated by family, friends, and the general public. This show each summer appeals to people as they walk and shop in the community. There are large crowds stopping by to see what you are doing. I’ve been painting about 45 years.”Bob Bochat “I think every artist likes to have his work seen and appreciated by family, friends, and the general public. I started painting when I was a baby. Water colors and flowers are among my favorites—and people too!”Lois Janacek “I meet all of my neighbors and get acquainted with new residents. Linda Somes “Back around 1988, a friend and I saw this art show because it was unique and I was interested in art. This year I entered in competition. I was pleased to among the winners. It was nice to be judged by both judges and peers. I like the countryside—trees and lakes, etc.”Linda Somes “Back around 1988, a friend and I saw this art show because it was unique and I was interested in art. This year I entered in competition.
